Happy Holidays!!!

It has been an exciting Christmas with Jackson and the Triplets. It was great to see the meaning of Christmas through Jackson's eyes. Obviously he loved opening presents...but he was excited to know it was Jesus's birthday. Every time we pass a church Jackson says that's where God, Elijah, Moses, and Jesus live.

The triplets had their 2 month appointment yesterday. They are all growing as expected, but remain below the growth chart in several areas compared to other 2 month old full term infants. I think they are so big, however they are actually the size of newborns!

Carter weighs 8 pounds 15 oz

Chloe weighs 8 pounds 5 oz

Cooper weighs 10 pounds (he's our chunky monkey)

The Snyder Triplets are 2 months old!!! All I have to say is time flies....when you're having fun. We seem to have established a nice routine. The babies eat every 3-4 hours and have continued their same hospital schedule. Last night they all slept 4 1/2 hours....hooray! On Saturday, we celebrated Marvin's 35th birthday. We went with friends to ICE at Gaylord Palms and then to have dinner at Kobe Japanese Steakhouse. We had a great time....thanks Vovo for babysitting. On Sunday, we took the triplets to my parents house for the afternoon. It was nice to get out of the house with them for a little bit. I added some pictures of my parents with the triplets...can you believe it, grandpa holding 3 babies at once. Coming up later this week we have an early appt. (8 am) with the pulmonologist for the babies to receive their Synagis shot (RSV shot). They will receive these shots monthly for the next 2 years to prevent RSV which can be deadly to a premie.

What an exciting week we had with the Snyder Triplets. We started out this week by taking Cooper to his hospital follow up appt. He gained 11.5 oz in a week period and is now weighing in at 7 pounds 12 oz - it's hard to believe he was once 4 pounds 4 oz. We have an appt for Carter and Chloe next week. On Wednesday, Vovo and I took the triplets to their opthamology follow up and we are happy to say their premature retinas are almost fully resolved. It was our first outing with the triplet stroller and what a workout it is to get 3 carseats out of the car and into the stroller. Needless to say I needed a nap after that trip out of the house. On Thursday, we built up the courage to go do our yearly tradition of taking our photo with Santa Claus at Downtown Disney. Jackson has had his picture taken there every year. It was a little surreal as people were stopping us asking to take our picture with the triplets!?! We kept the outing short and sweet, after our picture, Jackson and I rode the train and then we returned home. We took a family photo in front of our christmas tree, Jackson was able to hold all 3 babies - way to go Jackson!!! We hope you enjoy the photos.
